ITEM: Lucite Rhinestone Lorgnette Cat Eye Reading Opera Glasses circa 1950s. These fabulous glasses are made of shiny golden lucite in the classic retro cat eye shape! The pointy tops of the cat's eye and handle are accented with sparkling rhinestones. On either side of the center folding hinge are two cool silver stars. Once folded at the center, the glasses will then slip into the handle, creating a nice, neat compact pair of travel readers. The lenses are magnified and will work as functional reading glasses. We do not know the strength of the magnification.
