ITEM: Exquisite antique Art Deco Ostby Barton citrine ring hallmarked OB 10K with a Maltese cross, historically significant due to the Hallmark OB for Ostby and Barton, the famous team of jewelers started their company in 1879. Mr. Ostby tragically perished in the Titanic  voyage of 1912. The provenance of these rings with the Maltese cross are considered highly collectible due to the understanding that the maltese cross symbolized the ring was personally handcrafted by Mr. Ostby. Dating this ring to be made before 1912. This ring is in prestine condition, and Citrine is bezel set into the mount. This historical ring would be a great gift for anyone!
