ITEM: Although HAND BAGS have been carried by upper-echelon ladies for centuries, it wasn't until the late 1800's that the trend really caught on. With the advent of more 'form-fitting' dresses with no room for pockets, ladies had to have somewhere to carry their handkerchief, and mirror, and mad-money! This Edwardian era handmade mignight blue glass beaded purse features draped beads on each side of the bag. The inside of the bag is lined with silk and a beautiful rose pattern adorns the top of frame.
MATERIAL: Midnight Blue Glass Beads and lined with Silk.
PURSE DIMENSIONS: 4.5 inches wide by 7 inches tall from top of clasp to the bottom fringe.
HAND DIMENSIONS: 6.75 inches from bottom of the frame to the top of the chain link handle.
